We are looking forward to another excellent exhibition at PFB for 2008. We have extended the show to 2 months due to the popularity and size of the exhibition - over 100 works from more than 50 artists from across Canada and parts of the US.

This exhibition features both 2d and 3d works from book arts, cover designs (published and conceptual), hand made books, installation and conceptual works, art inspired by literature, sculpture and more. To see a gallery of pictures from last year please visit our PFB 2007 page.

Location: Community Arts Council of Greater Victoria
Description: With their unique and always creative insight into the written word and visual expression, this group of up to 15 local members of the Island Illustrators Society will reveal their interpretations in a site specific exhibition created on the festival theme A Climate of Change - from personal to global.

Featuring works by illustrator members: Dianne Bersea, Kristi Bridgeman, April Caverhill, Julia Cairnes, Karel Doruyter, Ron Finnen, Sandra Fowler, Robyn Hall, Olga Lang, Maria Miranda Lawrence, Wendy Page, Gudrun Rausch, Marcia Semenoff, and Natalie Shumka.
